The Bears are who we thought they were!

Okay...the Bears are back and we're all fans so I thought I'd keep a thread running on the Bears throughout the season. Feel free to post your comments, predictions, and assesments for all things Bears. Bears!

This guy has been uploading Bears camp broadcasts since the beginning of training camp. He's incredibly informative and I hope you enjoy.

What's good, Sox fans?!

White Sox fans, of course...

Cincinnati might be a little salty at us this year, 'cause word on the street is that we've got Ken Griffey Jr. on the roster for the remainder of the season. Major League Baseball just might want to watch out for the Sox this year. (White Sox, that is.)

What say you? Nice, yes? =)

America apologizes for slavery / Jim Crow

Today it was announced that the House of Representatives has passed a resolution to slavery and the era of Jim Crow... What, a resolution? Does this finally mean reparations? or even better 40 acres and mule?
WRONG!!!
The governments resolution to the mental genocide that still to this day plagues our communities is in the form of an official apology. The House, for the first time ever will in their resolution "acknowledge the injustice, cruelty, brutality and inhumanity of slavery and Jim Crow."

Can you imagine how this will go...

"Hey uh, you remember back in the day when my family F***ed your families women, killed the kids, whipped their backs, and then sold all yall?"

"Uh yeah. How could I forget."

"Well I don't think I've ever told you this but um... I'm sorry about that."

My question is will an apology make YOU feel better about being enslaved, conditioned mentally and bread physically? I hate to be frank but F*** the governments apologies. Thats not good enough! If the government is going to address an issue such as slavery and Jim Crow then they need to address it by doing something that will result in some significant positive changes for the descendants of slaves.

I think Lil Bush-nem are trying to hit us with the ol'oohwhoptee, but were not falling for it!!!
